Initially, we found a small, overgrown garden with a steep rear boundary. We modified an existing design and proposed tackling the bank with an oak sleeper and steel RSJ retaining wall, creating naturalistic planting tiers. The lower areas feature London Stone Florence Grey Porcelain for contemporary style paving. A Millboard deck (composite material) was laid under a louvred pergola, creating an all-weather space for the family and entertaining guests. Overall, the garden provides the client with a beautiful entertaining area that is low maintenance. The contemporary garden design is sleek and stylish. Its grey palette becomes softer by using the natural retainer wall wood, light shade of composite decking and bursts of floral colours.
